It’s not a normal training day for Salinggawi, it’s time for the boys to be evaluated one by one and today I had my first ever “major” injury. My left arm was twisted clockwise and I could not move it even a little. The pain just kept on rising that I had to go to the emergency room to have it checked. That moment I knew this arm won’t heal too soon. Mamay was with me that night as I was waiting for the results and thank God, it’s not a fracture. My arm was sprained severely that it had to undergo MRI to see any damaged ligaments or whatever.
As I walk out of the emergency room. Czesca and Sunshine were pointing at someone with big smiles on their faces and I saw him waiting for me outside in his usual mood na nagsusungit while he was talking to someone through his phone. Haha! That night, we were supposed to watch a movie togethers. Since obviously we can’t push through on our movie date he went to UST to check on me. That night also, he helped me buy my meds and took me home. He even had something for me, just like whenever I’m sick, he bought me something from banapple. I cannot do things easily with a broken arm and to know that there are two more arms beside me willing to help me makes me feel special. He stayed for a while and waited for me to shower, assisted me in dressing up since it’s damn hard to wear a shirt with a single hand. He fixed my bed in a way I could place my arm safely,he stayed for a while, he kissed me good night, and he left.
I don’t need chocolates or any pasalubong. I need him and he is more than enough.
